Orchid Classic Cruise

Morning
Your journey begins with a pick-up from Hanoi’s Old Quarter (for guests using the shuttle bus service) between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. The drive to Lot 34, Tuan Chau Marina takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the Orchid/Peony Cruise team for check-in procedures.

Afternoon
Board the cruise and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink while listening to a short safety briefing. As the ship sets sail into the tranquil waters of Lan Ha Bay, a delicious lunch is served in the restaurant. Cruise past an extraordinary seascape of limestone karsts and emerald islets that rise dramatically from the water.
In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Tra Bau Area, a serene and less crowded part of the bay. Here, guests are free to swim or kayak to explore the peaceful surroundings.

Early Evening
Return to the cruise just in time to catch a magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Unwind with a cocktail on the sundeck during Happy Hour (Buy 1 Get 1 Free), or indulge in a spa treatment at the onboard wellness center.
Later, join an interactive cooking demonstration, where the chef will guide you through preparing traditional Vietnamese spring rolls.

Evening
A deluxe dinner is served in the elegant dining room, featuring local flavors and expertly prepared dishes. After dinner, relax under the stars on the sundeck, enjoy drinks from the bar, or join the crew in night squid fishing. A movie is also available in the lounge for those who prefer a quiet end to the evening.
Overnight onboard, surrounded by the stillness of the bay.

Morning
Rise early to witness the splendid sunrise over Lan Ha Bay, followed by a Tai Chi session on the sundeck to start your day with calm and energy. After a hearty breakfast, guests will transfer to smaller boats to begin an exciting excursion to Viet Hai Fishing Village on Cat Ba Island.
There, you can choose to cycle along quiet village paths or take an electric cart through lush greenery and rice paddies, offering a glimpse into the simple and peaceful lives of local fishermen.
Return to the boat around noon for a freshly prepared lunch onboard.

Afternoon
In the early afternoon, the cruise continues to the pristine Ba Men Temple area, one of Lan Ha Bay’s hidden gems. You’ll have free time to enjoy kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing on the beach in this secluded setting.
At around 4:00 PM, return to the main Orchid Cruise vessel to rest and admire the tranquil bay scenery during golden hour.

Evening
A gourmet dinner will be served at 7:15 PM, offering another memorable culinary experience. Afterwards, guests are free to enjoy the evening onboard:

• Sip cocktails on the sundeck under the stars

• Socialize at the luxury indoor bar

• Watch a movie in the lounge

• Or join the crew for some fun night squid fishing

Overnight onboard, surrounded by the calm and mystique of Lan Ha Bay.

Early Morning
Start your final day with a rejuvenating Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the first light of dawn reflects across the bay. Enjoy a light breakfast of pastries, tea, and coffee in the restaurant while taking in the peaceful morning landscape of Lan Ha Bay.

Morning
After breakfast, guests will disembark at Cat Ba Island for a guided visit to the famous Trung Trang Cave — one of the largest and most beautiful caves on the island, filled with striking stalactites and unspoiled natural formations.

9:30 AM – Check-Out & Brunch
Return to the cruise for cabin check-out and final payments. A brunch buffet will be served as the Orchid Classic gently cruises back toward Tuan Chau Marina.
Disembark around 11:30 AM, concluding your cruise experience.

Afternoon
For guests using the cruise’s transfer service, the shuttle bus will return you to Hanoi’s Old Quarter, arriving in the early afternoon.
